ANNAPOLIS, MD –Weitzman, a full-service advertising, digital and social agency headquartered in Annapolis, is pleased to announce Kaitlyn Schmeiser as a Graphic Designer.
Kaitlyn graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Art Studio and a Concentration in Graphic Design. She was one of 20 selected for entry into the two-year program at the beginning of her junior year. During her four years at Maryland, Kaitlyn also competed as a student-athlete on the softball team, a commitment that required balancing roughly 18-24 hours of practice per week and 52 games in each season with a rigorous class schedule.
Almost two years out of college, Kaitlyn has worked previously for a branding shop in New York City, as well as a fundraising group in Baltimore. She brings a focused work ethic and a desire to learn, as well as an energy that suggests a lack of sleep and an unhealthy intake of caffeine. However, the trait she is most proud of is her ability to thrive off of criticism, in any form. She is ecstatic to be a part of this rapidly evolving Weitzman team and is looking forward to growing as a designer.
“Kaitlyn brings with her an energy and a crafted design aesthetic to Weitzman,” said Rich Reiter, SVP and Executive Creative Director. “We’re excited to have her join the team to elevate the agency and our clients brands to the next level.”
